About

John is an art director and graphic designer. He also really likes to doodle.

He graduated with a B.S. in Advertising from the University of Texas at Austin in 1993. He then went on to work as an Art Director/Creative Director at Publicis in Dallas, TX until 2005. Since then, he’s freelanced on a wide range of advertising and design projects. In 2008, he launched the j.j. elliot doodle studio.

When John’s not busy doodling, he’s trying his darndest to keep up with his daughter and two cats. An inordinate amount of his time is spent moving the cats away from the front of his computer screen in hopes of getting some work done.
